Beautiful waterfalls, however, sadly, the location was spoilt by the number of people. The area was full of tourists and locals and this spoilt the visit. Difficult to find somewhere to put down your towel etc and the number of people in the water reduced the amount of room to swim and enjoy the location. The café/restaurant was also packed and again it was difficult to find a seat. A disappointment.
The boat trip up the lake was lovely and tranquil and the wine tasting delicious! It was a shame that a 10 hour trip only had an hour's worth of enjoyment!
Our driver was awesome and on time, our guide was super knowledgeable, crazy friendly, and had super awesome suggestions. We had an awesome time on our trip and was more than we expected! Definitely recommend.
We had an excellent time visiting the small town of Sibenik and learning of its history. Then walking amongst waterfalls in Krka and swimming in the refreshing water was amazing. Even the boat ride up the river to the small town for wine tasting was great. We had a really awesome time on this day trip and would highly recommend going, and going with this company. The guides thought of everything we needed and they made every part of this trip so easy and enjoyable for us.
Our guide Malin was knowledgeable and entertaining and worked with us to have a great experience and still get back to Split in time for the World Cup Croatia v France match.
Wonderful introduction to Sibenik - can't wait to go back and explore more
Delicious wine and cheese tasting
Very cool ( in every sense of the word) swim in the Krka waterfalls!
We met at the bronze map, right in front of the gates to the palace near the shore. To keep the groups small, we took two mini buses to Sibenik, a small Croatian town with lots of history. Our tour guide, Henry, was very knowledgable and gave us free time in the city. We continued into Krka National Park where Henry accompanied us to the waterfalls and then gave us ample time to swim and eat (here are food stalls and restaurants). On our own, we took a ferry to a small town where we met up with the driver who brought us to a wine tasting. A family owned winery, the wine was authentic and served with delicious bread and cheese. Overall, this trip was very worth it!
Definitely worth doing if you have a few days in Split.
We first drove to Sibenik, which took about an hour. It’s a cute little town right on the river. Our guide walked us through the town, then gave us some free time.
Then it was off to the Krka national park. Very beautiful. We swam in the water by the falls. A little chilly but a cool experience. Lots of walking and steps so just be aware of that.
Then we went up to a small winery for a tasting. That part was ok if you’re into wine.
Our guide ran into some issues that were beyond his control and fixed them right away so I give him credit.
Overall I would highly recommend it. Probably not good for elderly people or small kids. But for anyone in between it’s great.
It was our most amazing trip.the waterfalls were stunning our guide was the best ever. He went above and beyond showing his country to us. He did an exceptional job at wine tasting bringing great fun and friendship to our entire group. He showed us the coliseum at sunset and gave us the luxury to explore it when the tour was technically already over. Thanks to him we have such treasured memories. It was the very best of our Croatia experience even when the others were also very good.
