I did this tour on Friday and Matt was our your guide who had a magnificent amount of information. The your itself was very well structured and planned, only problem was it felt a little rushed in that we didn't have enough free time to explore the museum more. Aside from that it was very good.

A bit too fast, no time to visit the museum, only a quick walk thru with the guide. bus was completely full, pack like sardines. should be a dedicated bus so the guide can do his preamble on the bus, and then we would have more time visiting the actual site.

This tour was incredibly informative and really not to be missed if one is in Munich. Our tour guide, Steve, was it World War II historian, and incredibly well informed as to the events that occurred leading up to and during the period of Dachau’s active existence as a prison then concentration camp. I cannot highly recommend this enough. Taking the tour during the winter definitely added a dismal and somber aspect to the day. A great place to reflect on history and remember the sacrifices of others. The museum itself is well laid out with many photos, articles and explanations to fill in the gaps of knowledge about this horrible period in history. Just make time and go. You will not regret it. Don’t miss the path behind the crematorium and the memorial room for Holocaust victims.

This was a very informative tour and our tour guide was amazing. Easy to find the meeting point as well!

Highly recommend. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and gave us a great understanding of the history of WW2. I learned so much about how concentration camps really worked. I thought I knew a good bit about it, because I studied history in college, but wow, she taught me so much. We hit a bump in the road in the beginning of the tour. The train to Dachau was unavailable because of construction work, but she was able to get us to Dachau by bus instead. She was on top of everything! 10/10 would recommend.

Our trip to Dachau was very well organized and we had a great guide who had an under grad degree in history and post grad degree in archiology. He was very knowledgeable. The trip was rushed at some points but on our own we would not have received the volume of information our guide shared! A true historical experience!

I am so glad I chose to go to Dachau with a guided tour. Our guide was so knowledgeable, and I believe he helped make this experience more meaningful.

Exceptional tour. Although I'm sure we could have spent all day there, the guide took us through the history and high points in a roughly two hour walking tour. She was excellent and we left with a much greater understanding of the period and the things that happened there.

Profoundly sad but an indelible lesson for all of us. I consider history as a record of mankind's collective memory and conscience.
Needless to say that a visit to Dachua Memorial is a valuable walk down memory lane and a definite eye opener for the discerning mind. My wife and I took this tour from Munich and although she doesn't otherwise have an active interest in history, she found it thought provoking and valuable. Furthermore, I would strongly recommend the tour with Nikola our guide - her insightful and emotive commentary on the life of prisoners in the camp really makes this tour worthwhile.
