Sehr schlechte Erfahrung.
Great value!! The cruise was very nice. The food is fantastic and there is a lot of it. The accommodations are also very nice. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ship. Tom our tour guide was probably the highlight of the trip. He was very informative and did a great job at making sure the group knew what was going on. I would recommend this cruise very highly.
The name of this tour perfectly describes the quality. JUNK. The boat was old and sad. The crew seemed tired, unenthusiastic, and not very helpful. I would not recommend this tour to anyone. I am not sure how the reviews are so good. A few things that stood out: We were provided with one small water bottle each as we arrived. Anything more than that needed to be purchased. Since the water from the sink was undrinkable and there were no beverages served with any of the meals except for the small glass of juice upon arrival, we were forced to pay for the water to drink with our included meals. The shower completely shutdown after 2 minutes after entering which was very inconvenient. When I spoke with the tour guide Kent about the situation that same morning, he was more defensive than apologetic, insisting that it works. The food was bad, and the whole experience left A LOT to be desired. Great scenery and nice kayaking, but all the cons seem to overshadow anything positive.
It was the cheapest wonderful experience in my life, I'm 55 and well traveled. Italian-American Citizen
Started with a mini van trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay, then two Amazing sight seeing on a boat with only 5 couples. Then another minivan trip back to our Hotel in Hanoi......... worth looking into it folks!
Well organised and on time right from hotel pickup .our guide and driver were very friendly and helpful . All aspects of the boat clean and functional. The guide and crew spoke English as good as expected in this country. An amazing place to visit .Expect plenty of people and unfortunately some trash in the water. But overall awesome trip, thanks team.
I highly recommend this tour. I was hesitant to book at first as I am not sure on how the room will look like, it turns out to be perfect. This is a value for your money as the activities included are enough to entertain and relax you at the same time. The foods served were not bad as well, tasty on my standard I am not very picky with food . The staffs are awesome, they are accommodating and kind.
Important note: Travelling from Hanoi to Halong Bay is 4 hours, please prepare your bladder as the toilet in the gas station is a traditional sit up kind. Do not drink too much liquid on your way, the comfortable toilet to use is the official stopover which is after 2 and half hours travel from Hanoi.
Tommy our guide was superb and made every effort to be informative and helpful. He did need to slow down to be understood and we British interpreted for some Europeans who though they had good English struggled with the pace at times.
Food was supeb cabins were lovely. Kayaking was fun. Overall very enjoyable and decent value.
BEWARE: lunch at 10:30 on the 2nd day is a little much.
If you've seen a cave don't waste your time going to this teeming with people and underwhelming
