We set out to learn a whole lot more than we were familiar with on the Half Day Terezin Tour. As stated in the title, this is sadly a tour that we felt we needed to take, because one can never forget the atrocities the the Jews of Prague and all of Europe experienced at the hands of madmen. This is a tour that as sad as it was, was well worth our time. We were picked up in a small car at our hotel, on time, transferred to a small van( given a bottle of water) where we joined about 10 other people for a small group tour. Our guide spoke to us the entire way, giving us information about Prague and some background history. Upon arrival we met up with a different guide that showed us around Terezin. Although we did not care for her as much as our first guide, she was adequate, After the "camp" tour, we were shown a short movie, which was pretty unimpressive. We had a short break and were then back with our original guide to complete the tour of the town. Our van returned to town and dropped us off at our hotels.
Booked last minute the evening before. We were picked up at our hotel on time and the entire experience was excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable guide, clean, comfortable bus which was equipped with bottles of water and even Wifi. Highly recommended!
Leticia was a excellent and knowable guide. From the pick up at our hotel to the drop off in Prague the service was excellent. This was a last minute reservation so I was very impressed with viator customer service.
I was really impressed by Viator and will definitely use them again. I booked 2 days in advance from Prague and they picked us up at our hotel and brought us to a bigger bus to Terezin. Our guide was amazing! She had such knowledge and passion for the subject and made the tour even more meaningful for all of us.
The bus ride was clean and comfortable. The problem was the guide. She was very hard to understand and then got us a local guide who was difficult to understand, very passionate about the subject matter. Our guide would not got into the sites with us. She would say, Go in for 25 minutes, then meet at the bus. There were so many guides touring with there groups that spoke clearly with great knowledge of the places they were visiting.
Highly recommend this trip. Our driver was punctual and very polite. Our tour guide Sophie was fantastic really made the trip extra special great story teller. Definitely if your in prague look up this company and ask for Sophie you won't be disappointed.
