Our tour guide was well versed in her information, but lacked a bit of the enthusiasm we were expecting. Might have had something to do with the awful family that we were in the group with, but nevertheless we learned a lot and came to appreciate Gaudi more after viewing the park.
Paid for a three hour tour, but only got one hour tour. They combined my tour with another group that had other things on their agenda. So when one hour was finished the guide took them to sagrada familia.
To be honest, we got there early and the park was open they put the barriers up at around 8am so we just went through ourselves. Avoided the crowds. Plus it was very confusing where to meet the guide. Recommend NOT doing the tour and just do it yourself.
We purchased this tour for early access. The tour guide kept us outside the entrance for over an hour explaining every single detail once in English then in Spanish. Our feet were hurting just standing there. The entire group was rolling their eyes wondering when she would be finished. Plus the park opened while we were standing there and we saw many, many people go in so the early access feature is worthless. Just buy the on-line ticket to the park. We finally got in to the park but again she spent so much time droning on and on that you lost interest quickly. We finally left the group. It really ruined our experience. I absolutely don't recommend this tour.
The hype sounds real good, doesn't it. But the truth is that there is NO EARLY ENTRANCE, I repeat there is not early entrance. Most of the park is open to the public before 8am. There are joggers, early walkers, and just a place for early risers to go. We met our tour guide before 7:45, she was very, very nice. This was 8/28/2017. But we did not start the tour until 8:05, we waited for late arrivals. What about the people who arrived on time or even early. Anyway the early entrance is for the part of the park that is ALREADY OPEN to the public for FREE. The only part of the tour that you need to pay for is for the monument park, which opened at 8:00am, which we did not arrive to until after 8:35. So exactly where was the early entrance. Try another tour, just on principal that they misled you
Early Access means that you meet in the morning. NOT that you get into the park earlier than anybody else. Do NOT waste your money of this if you think that you will enter earlier than anyone else. Many people on our tour thought this and we were all wrong. there are very few people at the park at this time, so there is no advantage
