On this private adventure, bike through Yangshuo’s scenic countryside with your expert guide! Explore Yangshuo’s picturesque karst mountain and river scenery as you follow your experienced bike guide off the beaten paths to scenic spots where you can stop to take photos, listen to the guide’s interesting stories, and experience the best parts of the unique Yangshuo countryside.

If you want to stop to rest, you may request a food stop at any time. Enjoy a lunch you have pre-packed or ask your guide to recommend a local restaurant for an authentic Chinese meal (own expense).

Choose from two tour options to suit your party: the regular private bike tour or the private family bike tour recommended for families with children aged 12 and under, which includes child mountain bikes, infant seats and trailer bikes. The ride is fully customizable to suit to your ability and interests. You will cover around 18 to 24 miles (30 to 40 km), although either a shorter or a more challenging ride can be arranged upon request.

Sample riding route:

Starting from the meeting place, follow your guide along back roads and dirt trails and through the rice fields and old villages of Yangshuo’s beautiful countryside. Reach Baisha village, which regularly hosts one of the biggest markets in the region. Walk around with your guide and peruse the many varieties of fresh produce seen only in farming towns like these. Then, enjoy a delicious serving of the popular Guilin noodles (own expense).

Hop onto your bike once again and continue toward the Yulong River Valley and over the 400-year old Yulong Bridge. Follow your guide on a picturesque ride along the Dragon River to see Moon Hill, a hill with a natural semicircular hole through it, and then back to Yangshuo.
